Overview:
Lawson Enterprises is partnering with a hospital in Sanford NC to hire an Ultrasound Tech for the Evening Shift. This newly opened position plays a vital role in diagnosing medical conditions and assisting radiologists with biopsy and drainage procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong sonography skills professional judgment and patient care experience.
This is an inperson role requiring the highest standards of medical ethics and practice in a fastpaced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sonography procedures to diagnose medical conditions.
- Assist radiologists with biopsy and drainage procedures.
- Ensure all procedures follow departmental protocols and medical standards.
- Perform highlevel disinfection of probes per departmental protocols.
- Use professional judgment to deliver quality imaging and patient care.
- Monitor and assess patients during procedures ensuring their safety and comfort.
MustHave Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
ARDMS registry eligibility (must complete within 6 months of hire).
ARRT registry with ultrasound credential.
American Heart Association BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).
