Shifts: Variable 24/7 and OnCall (Casual Shifts: Must be available for all shifts. Day Evening and Night shifts including on Weekends and Stat Holidays)

Position Summary

As a valued member of TeamJDMI you will have the opportunity to be trained in Level three CT at multiple UHN sites.
 

Duties

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) procedures some General Radiography (when needed) and digital quality assurance
• Communicates with team members and management personnel
• Participates in professional development teaching and educational activities and mentoring

Qualifications :

• Registration with the CMRITO
• Previous general imaging experience coupled with recent experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography
• One (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility
• Completion of a BCLS program Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation
• Demonstrated strong technical skills and image quality
• Knowledge of basic anatomy and pathology
• Effective time management skills ability to organize work and set priorities
• Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a supportive team environment
• Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
• Commitment to continuing education
• Excellent teaching skills
• Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history
• Effective computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Previous Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT preferred
• Membership with the CAMRT preferred
• Completion of certified injection course preferred
• Completion or currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT preferred
