Job Description
An established consulting engineering firm seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team at their Columbus Ohio headquarters. This firm provides a range of civil water/wastewater environmental transportation mechanical and electrical planning engineering and construction management services to public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design engineering and development of specifications for electrical power distribution facilities lighting SCADA and control systems for wastewater water and industrial facilities.
- Design electrical systems for highway and street lighting within transportation infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver project solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and regulations throughout all phases of engineering design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering particularly within construction and tradesrelated projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
