Position: Manager Electrical Engineering

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Electrical Engineering to join our Aerospace & Defense clients team to lead their growing electrical engineering team.
Job Summary:
As the Manager of Electrical Engineering you will be responsible for overseeing the design development and implementation of electrical systems and components for our client. You will manage a team of electrical engineers and work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Viable candidates will have experience in VHDL/Verlilog coding for synthesis FPGA/ASIC verification using SystemVerilog UVM/OVM FPGA/ASIC verification methodology experience with developing cryptographic security solutions for communciation products experience in development and certification of Type1/Type3 Secure products demonstrated project leadership and management skills in embedded system and FPGA/ASIC design and working knowledge of FPGA/ASIC development and verification processes. We seek a highly motivated selfstarter who works well in team environments and is willing to lead and mentor others. Solid technical writing skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts/solutions both inside and outside of the organization are necessary as well as the ability to work efficiently with remotely located teams and coworkers
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers providing guidance training and support to ensure their success and development.
Oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with other departments such as project management and procurement to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Review and approve technical drawings specifications and other engineering documents.
Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of work.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and components.
Experience in project management and leading a team.
Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Proficient in relevant software and tools.
