Job Description
ETL/ELT Architecture Design:
Architect and design scalable robust ETL/ELT frameworks using Informatica / IDMC and Snowflake to support complex data integration and transformation needs.
Define best practices for data integration data quality error handling logging and performance optimization.
Solution Development:
Develop and maintain complex data pipelines to extract transform and load data from various sources into Snowflake using Informatica IDMC.
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to implement highperformance faulttolerant data integration solutions.
Data Modeling & Warehousing:
Design and implement data models within Snowflake to support analytics reporting and business intelligence.
Optimize database designs for performance scalability and costefficiency in cloudbased environments.
Cloud Integration:
Architect solutions that leverage Informatica Cloud for data integration across hybrid multicloud environments.
Implement data migration strategies to move data from onpremise systems to Snowflake in the cloud.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and data engineers.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor analyze and optimize ETL/ELT job performance.
Implement efficient query strategies within IDMC and Snowflake to ensure high performance and low latency for data operations.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure data governance compliance and security standards are adhered to in all ETL processes.
Implement data encryption masking and access control in Snowflake and Informatica IDMC environments wherever applicable.
Experience:
10 years of experience in ETL architecture and data engineering.
Strong experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Snowflake
Expertise in Snowflake architecture data warehousing and performance optimization.
Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in designing ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC.
Deep understanding of Snowflakes data sharing time travel and multicluster architectures.
Strong SQL skills for database querying and optimization.
Experience with data modeling techniques for both OLAP and OLTP environments.
Knowledge of data integration best practices data governance and cloudbased data migration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Informatica IDMC and Snowflake.
Experience with SQL Python Scala or other programming languages for data manipulation and integration.
Experience with realtime data integration and streaming architectures.
Familiarity with DataOps principles and methodologies
