Opportunity at a Glance
The Manager Academic Success reports to a Director or Executive Director and works closely with the academic and administrative staffs in the relevant Centers Schools or College to address a variety of academic faculty and student issues.
Responsibilities
- Review develop and administer procedures policies requirements and infrastructure support utilized in relevant units for supporting academic issues faculty and students. Flexible scheduled ability to work 23 times a month in the evenings.
- Collaborate with associate directors (ADs) assigned to other colleges to formulate consistent universitywide approaches to various academic issues.
- Monitor collegelevel adherence to university policies pertaining to specified issues.
- Gather and analyze data on student and faculty academic activities in assigned college and collaborate with fellow ADs to prepare annual report on university academic performance.
- Report to the relevant Director on assigned operations within the unit in which he/she serves and ensure the use of the best practices and standardized procedures within that unit.
- Travel to relevant university meetings. Service on university and school committees and committees for other initiatives as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
- Masters Degree Required
- 5 years experience in higher education Required
- 3 years project management experience Required
- 3 years experience in distant learning Preferred
- Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students earning their degrees in a distance learning environment.
- Excellent leadership communication team participation team building and human relation skills.
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds in a collaborative manner.
- Ability to creatively solve problems.
- Ability to write effectively in both business and academic styles.
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $70696.34 and $124230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
