Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

To enhance international cooperation/partnerships & improve relations with international & regional organizations, through effective communication, signing of MoUs & building of alliances with humanitarian organizations to support key humanitarian causes.

2- To stengthen QRCS relation with Movement components by pursuing opportunities of cooperation with Movement components, further promoting QRCS position in the Movement.

4 3- To monitor international developments & Movements updates, discuss their implications for QRCS & determine suitable strategies to address them.

4- To increase influence in international events to support humanitarian causes.

7 5- To promote respect for humanitarian Fundamental Principles & Red Crescent emblem.

1. Strategic Planning Support:
Assist in Developing Business Strategy:
Support senior leadership in the creation and refinement of the company’s corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Contribute to identifying growth opportunities, market positioning, and competitive advantages.
Strategy Development:
Participate in strategic planning sessions, preparing presentations, research reports, and other materials that provide insights into business direction.
Assist in the evaluation of potential markets, product lines, or acquisitions to drive business expansion.
2. Market and Competitive Analysis:
Market Research:
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, potential disruptions, and opportunities for growth.
Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and pain points to identify strategic areas for development.
Competitive Intelligence:
Monitor competitors and analyze their strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning.
Provide insights on how the organization can differentiate itself or improve its competitive stance.
3. Financial Modeling and Data Analysis:
Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
Develop financial models to evaluate potential strategic initiatives and investments, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and new market entry.
Assist in preparing financial forecasts to assess the financial impact of various strategic options.
Data Analysis:
Analyze large datasets to inform business strategies, using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or other business intelligence software.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data trends and projections.


Desired candidate profile

Bachelor in Political Science, International Relations, Humanitarian Action, or any relevant specialization.

Requirements:

1- 1- 2+ years of experience in humanitarian action or international cooperation/relations.

2- Excellent research, analysis, communication & negotiation skills.

3- Fluency in English preferable.
Analytical and Research Skills:

Strong proficiency in market research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence.
Ability to synthesize complex data and derive actionable insights.
Financial Acumen:

Ability to build financial models, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and assess financial viability of strategies.
Familiarity with key financial metrics such as ROI, NPV, IRR, etc.
Project Management:

Experience with managing or contributing to cross-functional projects.
Ability to prioritize, track, and deliver strategic initiatives on time and within budget.
Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting to senior management.
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-expert audiences.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:

Strong problem-solving abilities to address business challenges.
Creative and innovative thinking to identify new strategic opportunities.
Collaboration and Teamwork:

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various departments to drive strategic goals.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
