Vacancy: Head of Retail and SME Banking

Position Overview:
The Head of Retail and SME Banking is responsible for leading and managing the strategic direction performance and operational excellence of the retail and SME banking divisions. This role involves
developing innovative financial products driving customer acquisition and retention strategies and ensuring exceptional service delivery to meet business objectives. The position requires a balance of leadership financial acumen market insight and customer focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and implement the overall strategy for the Retail and SME Banking divisions.
- Identify growth opportunities in the retail and SME segments through market analysis and customer insights.
- Align divisional objectives with the organizations longterm goals.
Product Development and Innovation:
- Develop and enhance products and services tailored to the needs of retail customers and SMEs.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to design innovative banking solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Oversee strategies to acquire retain and grow the customer base in both retail and SME segments.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement programs to enhance service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with key SME clients to understand their business needs.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets for retail and SME products.
- Monitor performance metrics including profitability market share and customer base growth.
- Ensure crossselling and upselling opportunities are maximized.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all activities.
- Work closely with the risk management team to identify assess and mitigate risks.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical banking practices.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead highperforming teams across the retail and SME divisions.
- Provide coaching mentoring and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Analyze market trends customer behavior and competitive landscape to adapt strategies.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure efficient budget management and cost control.

- Proven track record in driving business growth and leading diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
