Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the education department in a juvenile correctional facility. This role involves supervising students in the classroom ensuring a positive learning environment and providing guidance on assignments. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the School Principal and participate in faculty meetings all while effectively managing classroom dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students and monitor attendance and behavior.
- Implement daily and weekly lesson plans in the absence of the teacher.
- Maintain classroom supplies and support student development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student progress.
- Complete all required training and maintain confidentiality.
