As the Bosch Charleston Plant Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation administration interpretation and enforcement of safety & environmental requirements including plant Corporate local state and federal regulations. You will establish safety & environmental standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). You will review HSE incidents for root cause and establishment of corrective and preventative actions. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical assistance with various plant staff functions and coordinating plant safety teams while supporting Electrical Safety at the Bosch Charleston Plant including training equipment assessments equipment installations one line drawing updates equipment electrical safety repair oversight.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The ability to work in a manufacturing assembly environment. The position requires the ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time repetitively bend twist grasp and lift up to 45 pounds. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel reach with arms and hands. Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision.
The position requires the ability to move items in excess of 100 pounds with additional personnel or use of lifting device frequent gripping of tools and materials. The position requires infrequent climbing on ladders and working at heights.
