Job Description
Position: Big Data Engineer with Java
Location: Wilmington DE (preferred) / Jersey City NJ
Job Type: Contract/Full Time
Job Description:
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Java with experience writing highperformance concurrent and scalable applications.
- Strong experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop Apache Spark (with Java API) Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
- Experience working with distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS Google Cloud or Azure).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB Cassandra HBase).
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks (Batch and Stream) such as Apache Beam Flink or Storm.
- Experience in ETL development data transformation and integration.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Handson experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
