Roles & Responsibilities
The HRIR Manager is responsible for supporting the HR and Industrial Relations functions within the manufacturing unit. This role ensures smooth and efficient human resources operations fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with labor laws and industrial relations practices. The role will assist in managing the workforce addressing employee grievances and implementing HR policies and practices to support manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial Relations (IR):
- Assist in the development and implementation of industrial relations strategies ensuring adherence to labor laws trade union agreements and company policies.
- Manage and resolve workplace disputes including grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to ensure effective communication.
- Monitor and maintain a positive working relationship with labor unions.
- Prepare and maintain records of employee issues complaints and actions taken.
- Assist in negotiating labor contracts if applicable.
- Employee Welfare & Wellbeing:
- Implement and monitor employee welfare programs including health benefits safety and worklife balance initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and feedback sessions to address concerns and enhance employee morale.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements including labor laws industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all employeerelated activities documentation and HR reports.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide regular reports to management on key HR and IR metrics including employee performance attendance and turnover rates.
- Analyze HR data and trends to help develop improvement strategies in the workforce and industrial relations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the HR Manager and other departmental heads to ensure HR policies and practices align with the manufacturing units needs.
- Collaborate with the training and development team to address skill gaps in the workforce.
Experience: 18 years
Qualification: MBA (fulltime)
