Job Summary
The IT Integration Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful implementation and integration of information technology systems across newly acquired assets and partnerships.
This position ensures alignment with organizational standards and supports clinical and operational objectives.
The role involves collaboration with crossfunctional teams to facilitate transitions optimize workflows and identify IT enhancement opportunities from acquisitions and partnerships. (4 Month Contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of IT integration strategies for newly acquired assets and partnerships ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the Chief Digital Information Officer to align integration efforts with digital transformation initiatives and prioritize resources for projects.
- Establish collaborative relationships with local IT leaders to understand existing IT landscapes strategic goals and unique challenges of acquisitions/partners.
- Conduct joint assessments of current systems to identify integration needs and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between integration teams and enterprise IT teams to align system capabilities and infrastructure.
- Partner with organizational leaders to troubleshoot integration issues and develop effective solutions leveraging enterprise IT expertise.
- Align operational processes and clinical needs with IT integration efforts including business requirements change management and enduser testing.
- Act as the primary IT point of contact for integration teams and establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights from stakeholders.
- Manage IT vendor relationships during integration processes including scope definition contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Develop and manage project plans timelines and budgets for integration initiatives to ensure timely completion.
- Implement and optimize data management practices to ensure interoperability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide training and support to staff at acquired facilities to facilitate smooth transitions to integrated systems.
- Monitor and evaluate integration effectiveness making necessary adjustments to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend best practices and innovations in IT integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Healthcare Administration or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
- 12 years of experience in IT leadership roles within healthcare delivery settings with a focus on system integration.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving hospital acquisitions or mergers including EHR and ancillary system integrations.
