Position Overview
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Director of Diagnostics to provide highquality diagnostic assessments and psychological testing for individuals seeking diagnostic services. As a key member of a dynamic team you will make a positive impact on the lives of clients and families by ensuring comprehensive and accurate psychological evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Diagnostics your primary duties will include:
- Psychological & Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct a full range of psychological and/or diagnostic assessments including scoring interpretation diagnostic reporting and feedback for individuals seeking diagnostic services.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the intake department and local referral sources to identify and address needs for diagnostic services across various locations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the condition and inventory of assessment materials protocols and related accessories ensuring all tools are uptodate and available.
- Regulatory Support: Collaborate with the Director of Compliance to assist with external audits including payor or regulatory reviews.
- Caseload Management: Ensure a balanced caseload of billable diagnostic services and PBS services as directed by your supervisor.
- Staff Recruitment & Development: Support recruitment efforts by assisting in interviewing hiring and onboarding new staff members.
- Performance Management: Participate in completing performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Staff Training: Assist diagnostician staff in the selection administration and interpretation of assessment instruments.
- Quality Oversight: Oversee the quality of assessment administration and ensure the accuracy of clinical reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for the role candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Requirements: A Master s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of postdegree clinical experience.
- Licensing: A valid Regular Driver s License (DL) is required.
- Certification/License: Any of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)
Schedule & Shift Details
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with no weekends required
- If you can relocate a $10k bonus will be included if you stay for one year.
