RN- PACU

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients vital signs and recovery status following surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in oncall duties after hours and during weekends; call coverage will be shared among three nurses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and standards in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification: Required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification: Required.
• Previous PACU experience is preferred.
