Job Description
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients during their recovery from anesthesia in the PACU.
- Provide care for patients ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and their families about postoperative recovery and care.
- Document all patient assessments interventions and progress accurately in medical records.
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.
- ICU experience is required.
- Required certifications: BLS PALS ACLS CHS NIH Certification.
- 36 hours per week (GWW) commitment with day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
