Lead Consultant Azure
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Azure consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Design implement and maintain Azure solutions ensuring security scalability and reliability
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for Azure architecture and services
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored Azure solutions
- Stay updated on Azure developments tools and technologies to advise clients and internal teams
- Conduct performance assessments and provide feedback to improve team efficiency and expertise
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide escalation support for the team
- Participate in presales activities including solution design and proposal development
- Contribute to thought leadership research and knowledge sharing within the organization
- Ensure adherence to project management processes and quality standards
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships understanding their goals and delivering valueadded services
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational excellence
- Conduct regular trainings and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for the Azure consulting team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
- 47 years of experience in Azure cloud services and consulting
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team
- Indepth knowledge of Azure PaaS IaaS and SaaS offerings
- Strong understanding of Azure security compliance and governance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Experience in presales activities and client engagement
- Project management and delivery experience in Azure solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Certifications in Agile methodologies and ITIL practices
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell Python or other languages
- Experience with integrating Azure services with onpremises technologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
