Administers medication and treatments per provider order and uses nursing judgment and critical thinking skills to provide quality care Maintains confidential status of medical records and provides timely documentation. Encourages changes in patient behavior by promoting independence through goal setting with education utilizing teach back methods. Anticipates and/or responds to emergency situations in a calm efficient manner. Advocates for patients and their caregivers to positively influence value driven and effective nursing care within the healthcare communities.

6 months experience as an RN in an acute healthcare setting. Preferred Nephrology or Urology experience.

Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois BLS
Shift or schedule requirements.
Three 12 hour shifts () with alternating weekends and holidays.
Floating to other units/departments.
Possibly to other generalmedical/surgical units

21 beds.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
1:56 for night shift.

Scrubs any color. No visible tattoos or piercings (may have one set of small earrings).
