Overview
The Sales Territory Manager plays a critical role in the organization by overseeing the sales activities within a specific geographic area ensuring that sales targets are met and customer relationships are nurtured. This position is vital in driving revenue growth and expanding the companys market presence within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships through regular communication and visits.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and coldcalling potential customers.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to develop and adjust sales strategies for the territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Provide product knowledge and training to clients and distributors to drive sales and increase market share.
- Attend industry events trade shows and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
- Monitor competitors products sales and marketing activities within the territory to stay ahead in the market.
- Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Manage and optimize budgets expenses and resources to maximize sales and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve sales performance.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns based on customer feedback and market insights.
- Travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet with clients and oversee sales operations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in sales preferably as a Territory Manager or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies techniques and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a customercentric approach.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally to other locations.

- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
