Overview

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daytoday operations of the ICU and critical care units including patient care staffing and resource management
• Develop and implement clinical protocols policies and procedures to ensure evidencebased highquality patient care
• Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and support staff to maintain a positive and collaborative work culture
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards patient safety measures and quality assurance initiatives
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings case reviews and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery
• Collaborate with other department heads and hospital leadership to optimize resource utilization and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Participate in the recruitment training and professional development of ICU and critical care staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Participate in strategic planning budgeting and resource allocation for the ICU and critical care units
• Stay updated on medical advancements technologies and best practices in critical care medicine
• Address patient and family concerns and ensure effective communication and support throughout the care process
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and community resources to facilitate seamless transitions of care for patients
• Respond to medical emergencies provide clinical expertise and support the clinical team during critical situations
• Collaborate with research and educational initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of the ICU and critical care team
• Maintain accurate records reports and statistical data related to patient care and unit operations

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent degree in Critical Care Medicine Anesthesiology or Intensive Care
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or relevant specialty
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Delhi
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in critical care with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex patient cases and critical care procedures
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team
• Sound knowledge of current best practices guidelines and evidencebased protocols in critical care medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals
• Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on delivering efficient and effective patient care
• Proficiency in utilizing healthcare technology and electronic medical records systems
• Commitment to continuous learning professional development and quality improvement initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced highpressure environment
• Understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to critical care units
• Experience in academic or research activities related to critical care medicine is preferred
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and respond to emergencies as required
