We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee our financial operations and lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance with at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role preferably within the advertising or digital marketing sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail and a proven track record of financial management success.

What you will do:
Lead the finance department ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting adherence to accounting principles (GAAP) and the implementation of robust financial controls.
Develop and oversee the annual budget financial forecasts and various financial models to support strategic decisionmaking.
Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee financial planning and analysis to optimize financial health and performance.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulationsand manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Direct and coordinate the preparation of financial statements including profit and loss accounts budgets cash flows variance analysis and commentaries.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management team contributing to the overall growth strategy of Vertoz Advertising Limited.
Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems processes tools and control systems.
Lead mentor and develop the finance team promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
A minimum of 7years of relevant experience in finance management with a significant portion of that experience in a leadership role.
Extensive experience in financial reporting budgeting and forecasting with a strong understanding of GAAP.
Knowledge of Net Suite will be an added advantage.

Proven experience in the advertising or digital marketing industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing finance teams.
Strong analytical strategic thinking and problemsolving skills with the ability to influence senior management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of working collaboratively across departments.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
