Supports and updates the assigned functions or locations on all employee
relations matters.
Participates on project teams to develop and implement new HR programs.
Revises and completes new job descritions and assists managers with
department restructuring.
Ensures compliance with employment legisaltion and handles any claims brought
by employees.
Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers and
provides advice and support on a wide range of strategic and operational Human
Resources issues in the business unit.
Reviews and completes HR Change notices and unemployment claims.
Developing professional expertise applies company policies and procedures to
resolve a variety of issues.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work detailed instructions on new
projects or assignments. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and
practices to determine appropriate action.
Contacts are primarily internal to the company with infrequent external customer /
vendor contact on routine matters. Builds productive internal / external working
relationships.
