Job Description
We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Application Team Leader to join our top qualified and knowledgeable IT team in our Athens Office.
Role Summary:
The Application Team Leader will be responsible for leading and managing a team of application developers providing guidance and support to ensure highquality outputs as well as overseeing the development deployment and maintenance of business applications.
What you will need to do:
- Lead and manage a team of application developers providing guidance and support to ensure highquality outputs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project management product owners and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives
- Oversee the development deployment and maintenance of business applications
- Establish coding standards processes and best practices within the team
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time within scope and budget
- Perform regular performance evaluations and identify areas for skill development within the team
- Handle resource planning allocation and capacity management
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies when appropriate
- Occasional traveling to project sites if needed
What you will need to have:
- BSc degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in software development using frameworks and technologies such as PHP MS SQL TypeScript jQuery Laravel and React
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
- Strong understanding of application architecture software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management
- Fluency in English
