About the Role
Are you the kind of person who can write texts that make people stop scrolling open emails or click that notification without thinking twice We re looking for a creative copywriter to join our marketing team and take charge of our WhatsApp campaigns email marketing and push notifications on the app.If you re obsessed with trending memes can turn boring updates into fire notifications and love experimenting with words we want you on our team.
What Youll Do::
- Write attentiongrabbing and engaging copy for broadcast messages promotions and community updates.
- Develop conversational and personalized text that keeps Gen Z hooked.
- Craft compelling subject lines and email content that gets people to open read and take action.
- Work closely with designers to create visually appealing and impactful email campaigns.
- Write clickworthy app push notifications that drive engagement and actions.
- Experiment with A/B testing to find out what makes users tick (or tap).
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with Gen Z culture memes lingo and communication preferences.
- Use insights from trends to create content that feels fresh and relevant.
What Were Looking For
- A storyteller with a knack for crafting shortform content that packs a punch.
- Someone who knows the difference between slay and mid (and can use both effectively in copy!).
Experience:
- 13 years in copywriting preferably with a focus on digital campaigns.
- Experience with WhatsApp Business email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp Klaviyo) and app notifications is a bonus.
- Strong understanding of Gen Z behavior culture and digital consumption patterns.
- Excellent grammar wordplay and an obsession with clarity.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt messaging for different platforms and goals.
