Job Description
Job Title: Quality Engineer( Real estate )
Department: Construction/Real Estate
Reports to: Project Manager/Head of Quality Assurance
Job Overview:
The Quality Engineer ensures that all construction activities materials and processes meet established quality standards. They play a vital role in ensuring compliance with codes regulations and the companys quality policies to deliver highquality projects. The role involves close collaboration with contractors suppliers and internal teams to ensure that work is completed according to specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and checklists for construction projects.
- Inspect ongoing construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards building codes and project specifications.
- Ensure that materials used in construction meet quality standards by verifying supplier certifications and material tests.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and quality audits.
- Prepare reports detailing the quality performance of projects and highlight areas for improvement.
- Ensure all quality documentation is properly organized and archived for future reference.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure construction activities comply with local building codes environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Stay updated on the latest quality regulations codes and certifications applicable to the real estate industry.
- Defect Analysis & Rectification:
- Identify and address any quality defects or noncompliance issues during construction.
- Work closely with site teams to resolve qualityrelated issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Work with project managers and engineers to develop strategies for preventing quality issues.
- Training & Development:
- Conduct training sessions for site staff and contractors on quality standards and best practices.
- Promote awareness of quality management systems among employees and subcontractors.
