Job Description
ITV network is hiring for Bureau chiefs who typically work in a management capacity and supervise various members to coordinate news production they perform many duties on a daytoday basis including:
- Supervising a team of reporters and production professionals
- Training hiring and managing staff members
- Setting and managing budgets
- Selecting and gathering news pieces
- Making connections with sources in a specific location or content area
- Coordinating with editors on news topics
- Reviewing news stories and making decisions about content
- Overseeing the daily operations of a newsroom
- Ensuring the regular publication of content from an outlet
- Working alongside reporters to ensure productivity
- Reviewing content for errors and relevance
