Job Description
Position: DGM/ Sr. Manager/Manager O&M Battery Energy Storage Solution
Location: Gurgaon. This is an HQbased role but traveling is involved.
About Employer: One of the largest renewable players.
Qualifications Required for This Role:
- Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Electrical Engineering
Experience Required:
- 12 20 years of overall experience within the renewable energy sector.
- Extensive experience in installation and commissioning operations maintenance performance testing monitoring troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis (RCA)/failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for lithium batterybased energy storage solutions at gridscale renewable project sites.
- Practical experience with LT HT EHT voltage systems.
Job Description:
- Oversee the installation commissioning performance testing monitoring and routine O&M of energy storage system (ESS) solutions power conversion systems (PCS) transformers switchgear and associated electrical systems at gridscale renewable project sites.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and perform comprehensive RCA/FMEA to identify and address any operational issues.
- Analyze performance data to ensure optimal functioning of the ESS and electrical components.
- Prepare and send reports to track system performance and uptime.
- Maintain system uptime and ensure compliance with servicelevel agreements (SLAs) outlined in project tender requirements.
- Develop and provide training to the O&M team to enhance their technical expertise and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts to ensure minimal downtime and seamless operations and coordinate with vendors for RCA process improvements.
- Cost reduction initiatives.
- Undertake frequent travel to various renewable project sites as needed.
