Job Description

Field Sales Executive

The Field Sales Executive plays a vital role in driving the organizations business development and revenue generation efforts. This position is pivotal as it directly interacts with customers delivering tailored solutions while promoting the companys products or services. Field Sales Executives are responsible for understanding customer needs identifying potential clients and fostering robust relationships that lead to longterm partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for sales a capacity for proactive problemsolving and exceptional interpersonal skills. As they travel to meet clients in diverse locations Field Sales Executives embody the companys values ensuring that each interaction reflects its commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure timely followup on leads generated through various channels.
  • Provide feedback and insights on market competition and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Conduct onsite visits to customers and educate them about product offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Participate in trade shows and networking events to promote the company and its products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and integrate new knowledge into sales strategies.
  • Report regularly to management on sales performance and market conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Microbiology Biotechnology or any other life sciences
  • Freshers can also apply
  • Proven experience in a sales or marketing role preferably in a fieldbased capacity.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with clients.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and events.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate product knowledge effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with digital sales techniques is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism and work ethic.
