Overview
The Java Full Stack Developer plays a pivotal role in our technology team contributing to the development of scalable web applications. This position requires a blend of both frontend and backend development skills ensuring the seamless integration of userfacing elements and serverside logic. Our organization relies heavily on the expertise of our developers to optimize efficiencies and enhance user experiences across various platforms making this role essential for driving digital innovation. By collaborating with crossfunctional teams including UI/UX designers project managers and quality assurance testers the Java Full Stack Developer ensures timely delivery of highquality software solutions. This position also involves staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies facilitating continuous improvement within our development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highquality web applications using Java and modern frameworks.
- Design and implement userfriendly frontend interfaces with Angular or React.
- Create serverside applications and APIs using Spring Boot.
- Optimize application performance and stability through coding best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into highquality code.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
- Integrate with thirdparty services and APIs as required.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability and functionality.
- Work in an Agile environment participating in daily standups and sprint planning.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to system architecture and database design decisions.
- Monitor application performance and ensure uptime across environments.
- Document application processes and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 11 years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Hibernate).
- Strong experience with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript Angular or React).
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API development.
- Experience with database management (SQL MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud services.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Solid grounding in software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Portfolio of previous work or projects is a plus.
