JD for API Developer
As API Developer you will be responsible for all design development implementation and maintenance work under PIL s API Gateway system.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design develop/implement and maintain APIs under PIL s API Gateway
Collaborate with IT teams from PIL s clients/partners to understand their APIintegration related requirements
Develop scripts and programs to automate tasks related to PIL s API Gateway
Support PIL s integration team in troubleshooting technical issues related to API Gateway
Help in API Gateway setup for onboarding new customers/partners
Monitoring transaction dashboards and performance metrics of APIs under PILs API Gateway
Participate in APIrelated automation and performance improvement initiatives under PIL s Integration Team
Create and maintain software documentation and user manuals related to PIL s API Gateway
v Required Qualifications
3 years of handson experience on MuleSoft API gateway related tools and platforms
You need to be of strong character and also a strong communicator.
Experience in MuleSoft Anoint platform an MuleSoft B2B platform will be a plus.
Development experience in Object Oriented programming language like Java or any other similar language will be a plus.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge and handson experience on how REST APIs and API Gateways
Thorough understanding of API payload formats e.g. JSON XML plaintext multipart etc.
Handson experience in development and setup of new APIs using MuleSoft s Anoint platform
Handson experience in MuleSoft s API Gateway platforms Mule Gateway and Flex Gateway
Experience in integration middleware tools and technologies will be a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with clients excellent problemsolving and analytical skills and strong communication skills.
