Overview
The Video Editor and Animation Intern CGI plays a crucial role in enhancing the visual storytelling of our projects through highquality video editing and engaging CGI animations. This internship provides an opportunity for aspiring artists and creators to gain handson experience in a dynamic environment working alongside seasoned professionals in the field. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail creativity and a passion for crafting compelling narratives. As part of our team you will assist in producing visual content that captivates audiences and adds significant value to our production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in video editing tasks using advanced editing software.
- Create and integrate CGI animations into video projects.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements.
- Support the development of visual effects and motion graphics.
- Organize and archive raw footage and completed projects.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative project ideas.
- Edit and refine footage to ensure highquality outcomes.
- Incorporate feedback from supervisors and team members promptly.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and techniques.
- Help maintain the technical aspects of equipment used during production.
- Prepare project updates and presentations as needed.
- Manage timelines effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in quality control of all delivered content.
- Support the team in general administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute creatively in discussions about innovative content production.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Film Animation or a related field.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro).
- Experience with animation software (e.g. Adobe After Effects Blender).
- Basic understanding of CGI techniques and applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video and animation work.
- Familiarity with sound design and audio editing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Keen interest in emerging trends in video production and animation.
- Ability to take constructive criticism positively.
- Basic knowledge of color correction and grading techniques.
- Understanding of storyboarding and pacing in video editing.
- Availability to commit to a flexible schedule as required.
