We are looking for a Director equivalent profile with over 15 years of experience in leading Finance and Accounting Finance Controllership Finance Operations for Global Life insurance companies. The client is also migrating to AutoRec solution to manage their reconciliation operations and expects the practitioner to coordinate with the Parent entity Finance stakeholders India GCC stakeholders and any third party service providers to stabilize the Finance operations that has been offshored from UK to the India GCC over the last 12 months.

As the Financial Operations Transformation Lead you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the transformation of financial operations to improve efficiency accuracy and the controls environment. This role involves leading strategic initiatives managing change and ensuring that financial processes and systems are optimized to support the organizations goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial operations transformation strategy and roadmap aligned to the Centre of Excellence objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance financial operations efficiency.
- Lead and manage on behalf of the business transformation projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including IT Finance Colleagues and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
- Analyse current financial processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement optimised processes and workflows to enhance accuracy reduce costs and improve compliance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buyin and support for transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of new financial systems and software.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of transformation projects to senior management.
- Ensure that all financial operations comply with relevant regulations and control standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial processes and systems.
Key requirements Experience
- Experience of Insurance accounting for Life Insurance including requirements of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Understanding of the cash flows for life insurance and asset management products
- Expert level knowledge of financial system use and application and the ability to challenge viewpoints and provide recommendations for improvements and partner with IT to execute on change
- Expert knowledge and experience of Reconciliations including resolution of outstanding items controls and oversight over the entire Reconciliations work to ensure balances reported in the financial statements are complete and Ledger Close Accounts Payable Banking Investment Cost oversight.
- Detailed knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks particularly for life insurance and asset management
- Significant experience in managing both run and change programs in a global set up (e.g. migration to new reconciliation tools transformation outsourcing / offshoring)
- Experience of managing third party relationships (oversight of outsourced activities)
- Ability to simplify work processes adapt and champion change deliver results and inspire others in a fastpaced agile and transforming work environment
