Job Description:
Role: Learning & Development (L&D)
Position: Lead
Department: Human Resources
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
The Lead L&D will be responsible for the strategic planning design and delivery of training programs tailored to meet the needs of the diverse workforce. This includes product training soft skills development leadership training and induction programs for new employees. The role involves collaborating with various business units regional trainers and external partners to ensure effective learning interventions across PAN India. The goal is to ensure our employees are equipped with the knowledge skills and behaviours necessary to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Induction Training & On boarding:
  • Lead the Induction Training program for all new joiners across PAN India ensuring the smooth on boarding of employees and a comprehensive understanding of the company s culture values and product offerings.
  • Coordinate with Regional Trainers to schedule and conduct Induction sessions focusing on Product Orientation and ensuring new hires are equipped with the knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Ensure Induction Training is conducted in a timely manner with training calendars finalized and all new joiners are tacker.
  • Regularly review the effectiveness of the Induction program and provide feedback and reports to relevant stakeholders.
2. Product Training:
  • Develop and deliver Product Training for both Onroll and Offroll staff focusing on the diverse product lines offered by the.
  • Organize classroom training sessions ensuring employees have indepth product knowledge and are wellversed in the latest product offerings specifications and market trends.
  • Lead the New Product Development (NPD) Launches ensuring timely product knowledge transfer to all staff prior to market launches.
  • Regularly assess product knowledge through monthly quizzes and assessments.
3. Soft Skills & Personality Development Training:
  • Design and implement soft skills training programs that enhance employees communication customer interaction problemsolving and team collaboration.
  • Focus on delivering training modules that align with personal development and performance enhancement enabling employees to reach their potential and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Ensure that training content is updated regularly to meet the evolving needs of the workforce.
4. Leadership and Development Training:
  • Identify training and development needs for emerging leaders and provide leadership development programs to build internal capabilities.
  • Offer guidance and support to team leaders and managers to enhance their leadership skills decisionmaking and people management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand the key leadership competencies required to drive growth and innovation within the organization.
5. Training Evaluation & Feedback:
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of all training programs through feedback assessments and performance metrics.
  • Conduct site visits to Distributors and Dealers to gauge the impact of training on customer satisfaction and product knowledge.
  • Use feedback and insights to continuously improve and refine training strategies and content.
6. Continuous Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor the progress of training programs and ensure completion rates learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Prepare detailed training reports summarizing key outcomes challenges and areas for improvement.
  • Share progress and impact reports with internal stakeholders to align with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Learning and Development with a focus on product training soft skills development and induction training. Experience in the marble stone or construction industry is an added advantage.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of training methodologies and content development. Proficient in classroom and virtual training environments.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Natural Marble Engineered Marble & Tiles will be a significant advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and train diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities to handle multiple training programs and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide regional trainers and manage training teams.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in L&D with experience in training coordination delivery and evaluation.
  • Certification in Training or Learning & Development (such as CPLP or similar) is desirable but not mandatory.
