Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our regional sales team in the educational sector specifically focusing on elearning products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the South Indian market. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies leading a team of sales professionals and driving revenue growth. Your leadership will be crucial in building and nurturing strong customer relationships and ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet business objectives.
- Conduct market research competitor analysis and identify emerging trends in the elearning and education sectors.
- Identify and create new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with national sales and marketing teams to align regional strategies with broader organizational goals.
Sales Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a highperforming sales team across the region ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
- Recruit train and develop sales talent fostering a culture of growth and success.
- Set performance goals monitor team progress and provide regular performance evaluations.
- Ensure continuous development through feedback and training initiatives.
Revenue Growth:
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for the region.
- Expand the product/service offerings to current clients ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Enhance customer experience loyalty and retention by offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work crossfunctionally with the national sales team marketing and product teams to drive business success.
- Regularly communicate regional sales performance challenges and market insights to senior leadership.
- Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure alignment with national objectives and goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors or Master s degree in Sales Marketing or a related field. MBA or an advanced relevant degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in the South Indian market with specific experience in the educational sector or elearning sales.
- Experience in managing sales teams setting goals and achieving performance targets.
- Certifications: Sales or marketing certifications such as CRM Digital Marketing or similar are preferred.
