Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring Basic Grade Medical Scientist Blood Transfusion into a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing maintaining and enforcing procedures relating to all areas of the laboratory and its related testing equipment.
- Assist in applying and implementing operational procedures up to best practice standard in order to optimise use of resources.
- Achieve compliance with INAB Accreditation standards and the E.U. Directive on Blood/Blood Products if working in an INAB accredited laboratory discipline.
- Prioritise and organise work during busy periods and coordinate multiple concurrent testing.
- Participate if required in the Departmental on call rota.
- Cooperate with the relevant staff in new ideas and technologies according to the Hospital policies.
- Participate in the implementation of quality management programmes.
- Actively participate in internal and external quality control and assurance programmes
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Registration with CORU
- Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
- Experience in Blood Transfusion essential.
- Post qualification experience desirable.
- Have partaken in oncall rotas desirale.
