Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring Medical Scientist Histology into a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing maintaining and enforcing protocols for all areas of the laboratory and its testing equipment.
- Assist in applying and implementing operational procedures that meet "best practice" standards in order to improve resource utilisation.
- Assist in implementing a patientcentered quality management program that measures and audits performance and client satisfaction.
- Perform scientific work in accordance with the relevant INAB and JCI accreditation standards as defined by the Senior Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.
- Prioritise and organise work during peak hours and coordinate several concurrent tests.
- Cooperate with relevant staff on innovative ideas and technology in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate as needed in the registration and custody of Laboratory stocks in compliance with policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
- Experience in Histology essential.
- Experience in Cut Up would be advantageous
- Post qualification experience.
- Must be CORU registered
