Job Description

We are hiring a CNM2 Medical/Surgical Inpatient Units in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitors and evaluates patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care unit to ensure that competent compassionate and efficient care is provided effectively.
- Recruits and maintains skilled empathetic employees while maintaining high performance standards and fostering fair labour practices.
- Promotes a caring work environment by the availability of safe equipment and adequate supplies in an effectively organised physical setting.
- Operates and participates in continuous quality improvement and risk management programs at the unit level working together with multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Monitors fiscal budget to control operational and capital expenses and adjusts staffing patterns to improve productivity.
- Identifies and implements internal controls to ensure departmental compliance.
Requirements
- The NMBI Registered General Nurse licence is in excellent standing.
- Preferably hold a postgraduate degree in management.
- A minimum of five years of clinical experience and two years of progressive management experience are necessary.
- The employee must speak read and write in proper English.
- Experience in providing competent compassionate and efficient care to a specific patient care unit on a 24hour basis. This encompasses clinical HR and financial management.
