Job Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive LMS Content Administrator to manage and optimize course content within our Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves ensuring that educational materials are uploaded configured and maintained effectively while providing excellent user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content management quality assurance and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the learning environment.
Job Description
- Content Management:
- Upload and configure course materials activities and assessments to Moodle LMS.
- Ensure that multimedia elements (videos SCORM packages quizzes) are functional and optimised for user experience.
- Test uploaded content for accuracy functionality and alignment with course objectives.
- Quality Assurance:
- Verify that all content meets branding accessibility and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to content.
- Collaboration:
- Work with content creators trainers and developers to ensure timely and accurate content uploads.
- Liaise with the customer service team to address user feedback and enhance course usability.
- Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of uploaded courses and versions.
- Generate reports on course usage and user interactions as required.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Essential:
- Experience working with Moodle or similar LMS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in file management and basic multimedia editing (e.g. resizing images basic video adjustments).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Desirable:
- Familiarity with SCORM LTI or other eLearning standards.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve LMS content issues.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles or prior experience working with educators.
