Field Service Manager
Location: Mississauga ON – Hybrid
Compensation: $110000 (base strong bonus up to 35%)

Position Overview:
Based in North Mississauga this role oversees all aspects of the company’s aftersales service operations. The Field Service Manager will be responsible for maintaining high service standards improving operational efficiency and achieving financial targets while leading a tenured and experienced field service team across Canada and the United States.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an experienced and customerfocused leader with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components proven success managing field service teams and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a technical background the ability to manage field technicians across multiple regions and a proactive mindset to improve processes manage budgets and drive service excellence.
Compensation:
- Strong base salary of $110000 bonus potential up to 35% of base salary based on individual team and financial objectives.

- Hybrid work model: Primarily based in the North Mississauga office with flexibility as needed.
- Standard hours: Mon–Fri 7 AM–4 PM or 8 AM–5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company’s aftersales operations (B2B) including scheduling field technicians and overseeing service inquiries.
- Hire coach and train field service technicians to maintain high levels of technical expertise and customer satisfaction.
- Handle and resolve customer escalations ensuring solutions align with the company interests and meet customer expectations.
- Oversee spare parts sales to ensure availability for equipment startups commissioning and demand service.
- Monitor the Service Monitoring System including planning scheduling and daily service updates.
- Ensure proper documentation of all service activities including inspection signoffs customer approvals and invoicing.
- Manage financial aspects of the service department including budgets expenses and technician costs.
- Coordinate the service hotline to provide support and backup coverage for vacations.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to provide customer feedback on equipment performance.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve service processes and operational efficiencies
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Postsecondary education (degree diploma or certification) in the mechanical or electrical engineering or technician fields is required.
- Experience working in Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Automation and Controls Material Processing or similar industries is required.
Proven experience in managing B2B aftersale service operations parts sales and team leadership is required. - Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with flexibility for overnight travel in Canada and the USA (once per month).
- Must be available evenings and weekends to support onsite technicians as needed.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings (CAD) is required and the ability to read electrical drawings is considered an asset.
