Job Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner you will serve as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the quality and performance of our systems through exceptional communication and problemsolving skills. You will be tasked with accurately diagnosing client issues designing resolutions and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth system operations. Your expertise in AIX System Administration will be key in resolving technical issues providing root cause analysis and implementing proactive measures to prevent future problems.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) managing the team to perform at optimal levels.
- Take responsibility for team decisions and actively contribute to key technical and operational decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams to identify and resolve problems and contribute to crossfunctional collaboration efforts.
- Provide solutions to technical problems raised by the immediate team as well as other teams.
- Manage and resolve technical issues reported by clients ensuring high client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis of technical issues and provide timely resolutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth system operations and integration across platforms.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and implement proactive measures to enhance performance and reliability.
MustHave Skills:
- Proficiency in AIX System Administration including system configuration and management.
- Strong understanding of system administration principles and best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in AIX environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Perl for automation and system management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or HyperV for managing virtualized environments.
GoodtoHave Skills:
- Experience with networking concepts and system performance tuning in AIX.
- Familiarity with additional operating systems or tools such as Linux or Windows.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with clients and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong team management and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Educational Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 15 years of fulltime education in a relevant field.
