Job Title: Mainframe IMS DB Consultant (7)
Location: Wilmington DE and Jersey City NJ Hybrid Project
12 Months Contract (Long Term Project )
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
Handson practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
IMS and CICS is the main skill
Exp Level 8 Need hands on Exp
Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
Handson experience in IBMZ/OS COBOL CICSIMS DB/DC DB2 VSAM JCL CA7 Change man/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
Experience in creating API using zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
Familiarity with modern frontend technologies
Knowledge on banking domain & credit card is a plus.
Exposure to cloud technologies
Exposure to JAVA
