Job Description for a Global Operations Lead Reporting
Job Summary:
The Global Operations Lead Reporting is responsible for managing and overseeing global reporting frameworks ensuring accurate and timely delivery of operational insights to drive strategic decisions ensuring OPEX Management Transparency & compliance The role requires collaboration across departments and geographies to develop reporting strategies implement analytics tools and enhance reporting efficiency aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reporting Management:
o Design and maintain a comprehensive reporting framework for global operations.
o Oversee the preparation validation and timely delivery of operational and performance reports.
o Ensure alignment of reports with business priorities and global compliance standards.
2. Data Analysis & Insights:
o Analyse complex datasets to explain variances
o Identify trends risks and opportunities within operational processes.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to address gaps and enhance efficiency.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Partner with VFC & global teams to gather requirements and customize reporting solutions.
o Act as a liaison between business units and the data/IT team to ensure proper integration of reporting tools.
4. Automation & Optimization:
o Lead the identifying & operationalizing automation solutiuons that would improve consistency & quality of the final product.
o Maintain data visualization dashboards and ensure userfriendliness.
5. Performance Monitoring:
o Develop KPIs and metrics to measure operational success globally.
o Regularly review and refine metrics to align with evolving business objectives.
6. Team Leadership:
o Manage and mentor reporting teams to build a highperformance culture.
o Encourage continuous learning and best practices for datadriven reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Educational Background:
o MBA Finance FP&A skills Operations Management or a related field.
o Certification (e.g. Data Analytics Six Sigma PMP) is a plus.
2. Work Experience:
o 1520 years of experience in operations data reporting or a similar role with 5 10 years relevant experience.
o Proven experience working in a global or multiregional organization.
o People management exp of 710 years
3. Technical Expertise:
o Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI ) and data analysis software (e.g. SQL Python) is a plus.
o Strong knowledge of data governance metrics development and reporting standards.
4. Soft Skills:
o Exceptional analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills for crossfunctional
collaboration.
