We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Purchasing Manager to join our team in Novotel Cairo Airport Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities ensuring costeffective and timely acquisition of goods and services for our organization.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
- Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savings
- Analyze market trends pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of purchases contracts and inventory levels
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory and identify discrepancies
- Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities expenditures and supplier performance
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
- Mentor and develop junior team members to build a highperforming procurement department
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Inventory Management or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in procurement logistics or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes shipping logistics and customs clearance
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel Word and Outlook
- Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and compliance standards
- Understanding of food & beverage products and familiarity with perishable goods management (preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problemsolving skills and proactive approach to challenges
