Job Description
Our organisation is seeking a talented Audio Visual Specialist to enhance our multimedia capabilities and ensure topnotch AV experiences for our stakeholders. This key position focuses on supporting audiovisual operations to boost communication and engagement across various platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Install and test new facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Apply advanced crimping skills with connectors such as BNC Micro BNC RJ45 and XLR.
- Utilize strong expertise in AV broadcasting hardware and IT networking including configuring star networks for efficient communication between devices.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of scalers and matrix systems and their applications.
- Set up and maintain systems for virtual studio productions.
- Establish and oversee audiovisual connections across units.
- Diagnose and resolve technical equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Minimize downtime by promptly implementing alternative solutions during equipment malfunctions.
- Operate equipment and manage transmission links for outdoor broadcasts.
- Design and implement custom audiovisual circuits to meet specific project needs.
- Develop and assemble hardware systems for production.
- Promote and maintain adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
- Follow instructions and directives from product owners creative directors and team members.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and with other staff members.
- Stay uptodate with industry advancements and technological innovations by networking and exploring emerging systems and techniques.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in English at an advanced level (minimum B2) in both spoken and written communication.
- Strong understanding of photography fundamentals including aperture shutter speed ISO exposure and lens mechanics.
- Advanced technical knowledge of cameras and related equipment.
- Handson experience in electronic engineering and using communication technology.
- Expertise in operating video cameras and production video switchers.
- Experience with live chroma keying (green screen) techniques.
- Solid knowledge of SDI systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent IT and project management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong creative problemsolving skills with a focus on troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
