EOI for Web and Content Project Manager Canberra
We are seeking a seasoned Web and Content Project Manager with expertise in requirements documentation business analysis and project delivery. This role involves leading web and content management initiatives while collaborating with technical teams business stakeholders and federal government organisations. Proficiency in Azure DevOps Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential along with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead endtoend delivery of web and content management projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Conduct business analysis to identify project needs process improvements and opportunities for innovation.
- Utilise Azure DevOps for project planning tracking and task management.
- Work closely with architects developers business analysts and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Oversee website updates migrations and optimisation ensuring compliance with accessibility (WCAG) and usability standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide regular project updates and manage expectations.
- Ensure projects adhere to Agile and Waterfall methodologies based on project scope and requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
- Extensive experience in managing web and content management projects particularly within federal government environments.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering documentation and business analysis.
- Handson expertise with Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across business and technical domains.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web technologies CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress Drupal Sitecore) and digital best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience delivering projects aligned with Australian Government Digital Service Standards.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Certifications in project management or business analysis (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 CBAP Agile PM).
