About the role
The Performance Analytics & Reporting (PAR) Analyst is responsible for reporting and measurement of marketing activity across the global marketing organisation. Through standardised reporting of marketing metrics and production of key insights the MPI will help drive accountability and improvement for marketing teams performance from ‘best in class’ measurement.
The PAR analyst will gather and share insights that can be used to drive and inform marketing performance for critical marketing decisionmaking. Blending elements of marketing planning GoToMarket strategy strong project and stakeholder management the PMI is accountable for reporting operational efficiency of global marketing teams.
The PAR analyst works with Field CMO’s MarTech and COE teams to measure and track campaigns and programs across the channel mix. As subject matter expert the PMI will enable full funnel marketing reporting and assist Marketing leaders define plan and optimise Cognizant programs and initiatives to meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the expert on the platforms and marketing technologies used for capture of programs metrics and outcomes (incl. campaign automation CRM management ABM platforms digital web programmatic social and event.
- Utilise data intelligence and reporting tools to help marketing teams drive program success through effective performance reporting.
- Work with data teams to maintain repeatable production of performance marketing data for consistent and timely reporting.
- Gather performance data and provide meaningful insights that informs marketing teams of campaign performance and execution optimization.
- Proactively stay ahead of marketing performance analytics and best practices including AI and ML use cases.
- Maintain integrity of the marketing database to ensure proper data utilisation – establish best practice for campaign data usage.
- Generate lead campaign and ABM reports for business impact and marketing ROI on a timely basis – prepare executive insights for quarterly business reviews and adhoc needs.
- Support the field marketing teams through reporting and data analysis that tracks performance of marketing activity.
- Perform external analysis and research activities to generate relevant customer and market insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with CMO teams Digital field teams and management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas present results and feedback.
Key requirements and relevant experience:
- Degree in marketing business administration or related field.
- Min. 7 years relevant B2B experience aligned with full funnel marketing performance & operations.
- Expertise in campaign planning analysis and reporting lead management process development certifications in PMP SixSigma or similar.
- Proficiency with marketing automation and relevant data visualisation tools including Salesforce 6Sense Power BI and Tableau.
- Familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell story – executive level reporting.
- Possess excellent analytical skills and leverage data metrics analytics behaviour trends to drive actionable insights and recommendations – experience in BI and analytics tools is a must.
- Strategic goal oriented openminded curious and strong problem solver.
- Proficiency in presentation written and verbal communication including ability to express complex concepts in a clear and concise manner – able to lead large scale team meetings.
