Senior Analyst Developer Event Platform (Confluent Kafka) The Event Data Streaming and Processing Technology Foundation is in charge of several crossfunctional platforms offering highvolume event data streaming and processing capabilities. As a crossfunctional team we work in collaboration with our clients application development projects to provide them with modern highperformance platforms that meet their needs. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer specialized in the management and optimization of Kafka platforms (Confluent). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of our data streaming infrastructure ensuring the high performance and reliability of our missioncritical systems. Main responsibilities Design and Deployment: Design and deploy Kafka (Confluent) solutions tailored to the needs of our clients various business applications taking into account performance security and stability requirements. Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate the deployment configuration and management of Kafka clusters. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve performance and reliability issues. Crossteam collaboration: Work closely with development architecture and security teams to ensure seamless integration of Kafka solutions into the companys technology ecosystem. Documentation: Write and maintain complete and uptodate technical documentation of platformrelated configurations processes and procedures. Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to team members and internal project teams to ensure effective use of the platform. Requirements Profile required Bachelors degree in technology or software engineering Demonstrated experience in the implementation use and optimization of Kafka products Kafka Connect as well as event flow transformation technologies Kafka Stream KsqlDB Flink in an enterprise environment REQUIRED Knowledge of security best practices such as OAuth2 authentication SASL/SSL RBACbased authorization SSO and certificate management. Mastery of several Kafka monitoring and management tools (Confluent Control Center Prometheus Grafana Splunk and Dynatrace) to monitor performance and resolve problems. Ability to optimize Kafka performance including managing topics partitions replicas and tuning configurations for maximum performance. Strong programming (Python Java or .NET) and scripting (Bash Perl etc.) skills. Experience with Agile/SAFe methodology an asset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Good popularizer with an interest in knowledge sharing and collaboration
