Job Description
Financial Strategy & Analysis
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company s busine objectives.
Prepare analyse and report financial statements budgets and forecasts senior leadership.
Provide actionable insights on cost optimization and revenue growth to support decisionmaking.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasts.
Partner with department heads to ensure budget adherence and provide regular performance updates.
Accounting & Compliance
Oversee accounting operations ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
Cash Flow & Management
Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure operational liquid it
Forecast cash needs to support company s growth and investment initiatives
Tax Planning & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings identifying opportunities for t optimization.
Stay updated on SaaS industry tax implications including digital tax frameworks and crossborder compliance.
Risk Management & Compliance
Develop policies to mitigate financial and operational risks as the company scales.
Ensure alignment with SaaS compliance standards including GDPR SOC 2 and ISO certifications.
Team Leadership & Culture
Build and mentor a highperforming finance team fostering accountability and innovation.
Cultivate a startup mindset while ensuring excellence in execution.
Stakeholder Communication
Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to the executive team board members and investors.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on financial matter
Requirements
Education & Experience
Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA or equivalent; MBA in Finance is a plus.
812 years of financial management experience with 24 years in a highgrowth startup or SaaS environment.
Prior experience with Big 4 firms is a bonus
Technical Skills
Expertise in SaaS metrics and subscriptionbased revenue recognition.
Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems like QuickBooks Zoho or Netsuite.
Familiarity with tools like Stripe Chargebee Salesforce and advanced financial modelling in Excel
