We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller as a key member of our financial team you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Manage the daytoday financial operations of the hotel unit including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Develop and monitor budgets forecasts and financial projections for the hotel unit
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Oversee the monthend and yearend closing processes
- Manage cash flow and working capital requirements
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking
- Provide financial guidance and support to hotel management team
Qualifications :
- MBA in Finance or diploma related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of financial analysis budgeting and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
- Experience with hotel operations and financial management in the hospitality industry
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership and decisionmaking capabilities
