Job Overview:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design development and management of infrastructure projects including roads bridges drainage systems and other public works. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Design and Planning: Develop and prepare detailed designs specifications and construction documents for infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data on soil topography and existing conditions for project planning and design.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines budgets and resources ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects contractors and other engineering disciplines to coordinate design efforts and resolve technical issues.
- Quality Control: Review project deliverables for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all engineering practices adhere to local state and federal regulations including obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients government agencies and community stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in civil engineering particularly in infrastructure projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or EngineerinTraining (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D GIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
